Background:
The textile expo, stressing on specialty and practicability, has been held six sessions successfully. It has become one of the most important textile expos in China. Facilitated by the Expo, Shaoxing County is striving to create itself an ¡°international textile capital and modern trade city¡±. The 2005 Expo came with 800 exhibition stalls with 52,000 visitors, in which, professional visitors of 11,000 persons including 4,300 visitors were from 11 countries such as the U.S., France, Italy, Poland, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The 2005 Expo realized a transaction volume of RMB 1.678 billion. It turned out to be a true international textile expo.
Review of 2005 Expo:
The 2006 Expo has three major exhibition areas for dyeing and printing machines and textile materials, high-grade fabrics, home textile goods, apparel and accessories with 800 exhibition stalls in total. We will invite over 400 domestic and overseas companies to attend the event. It is estimated to receive 55,000 visitors and 5,000 overseas buyers.
